The Nicholas family outside St. Dunstan's College, Lewisham, London. It was at this College that Paul & Jannine Nicholas were awarded top Academic Scholarships after passing the entrance exams with distinctions. During their time there, the appointed Headmasters were Mr. B. D. Dance (-July 1993), Mr. J. D. Moore (1993-July 1997), Mr. D. I. Davies (September 1997-2004), and Mrs. Fiona Cordeaux (September 2004-2006). Mrs. Cordeaux was once Deputy Head of Wimbledon High School. Interestingly, Dr. Anthony F. Seldon was Deputy Headmaster there whilst Paul studied, later becoming the 13th Master of Wellington College. 23rd May 2014: We pray for Mrs. Joanna Seldon, committing her into the comforting arms of our Lord.

Above: The iconic "Jamat Khana", Old Kampala. Whilst Saida was growing up in Kampala, she followed her family to meet Prince Karim Aga Khan IV in the beautifully decorated "Jamat Khana". On the few occasions he visited Uganda, thousands came to see him, including Ismailis from across Africa honoring him as their spiritual leader. Now and then, we pass a "Jamat Khana" on Addiscombe Road, Croydon, opposite the Sandilands tram stop. 20th April 2023: We grieve the loss of Saida's sister-in-law, Yasmin Baloo, and will attend her funeral at the Jamat Khana.
This photo was taken in 1991. Seated (L-R): Sadhru Tarmohamud, his wife Roshan (Saida's sister), Naseem, Bahadur Baloo (her sister & brother). Standing (L-R): Shellina née Tarmohamud, Nizar Baloo, Nazma, Mahmud Tarmohamud. Nizar resides in Surrey, UK; the rest in Vancouver, Canada. Bahadur passed away peacefully on 16th April 2020 at 6pm; his funeral was on 24th April 2020 in Surrey, Canada. We had a grand time with him in 2016 but couldn't attend due to Covid-19.
The grand entrance of the Bridal Procession was memorable with the "Bridal Fanfare" trumpet. This event on 23rd April 1983 confirmed the vision.
